What is proofreading?

Proofreading is the final step in editing written work. It includes looking for consistency in formatting, fixing typos, and correcting grammatical, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation errors.

How are edits noted?

I typically make edits and notes using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word. I am also familiar with the similar Suggesting feature in Google Docs.

Do you need someone to do a final check for typos or other distracting errors before you post your blog article?

Do you need another pair of eyes to go over your business manual or other documents before sharing them with your coworkers or employees?

Do you need a proofreader to review your marketing materials before distribution to customers or clients?

Do you need someone to give a final polish to your manuscript before you publish?
